The Balearic company joins the Quiterian Business Partner Network as Value Added Reseller (VAR) of the visual data mining platform Quiterian DDWeb
Barcelona, October 11, 2011 – Brújula joins the Quiterian Business Partner Network(Quiterian’s official partners network). According to the agreement set by Quiterian and Brújula, this one will market Quiterian DDWeb in the Autonomous Region of Baleares and, especially, among customers and prospects in the travel industry.
The visual data mining platform Quiterian DDWeb is based on advanced analytical and predictive techniques. In consequence, Brújula acquires through this strategic agreement a cutting-edge, well-differentiated product which turns out to be especially suitable to complement its suite of traditional tools and systems. Additionally, Quiterian has developed business solutions around those advanced and predictive analytics, which especially fit the needs and challenges of each one of its customers.
Within a +150 specific business solutionscatalogue, Quiterian counts on many offerings for the travel and services industry. And this is precisely the area where Brújula counts on broad expertise, out of which the Balearic company will make the most, in order to spread Quiterian DDWeb’s analytical capabilities in its area of influence.
In such terms as “productivity”, “differentiation” or “high profitability” refers the Account Manager at Quiterian, Carlos Álvarez, regarding this collaboration agreement: “Brújula is deeply committed towards providing their customers with global solutions based on the most cutting-edge technology. In line with this, Quiterian DDWeb widens and boosts its current suite, since it is a complete visual data mining platform that goes further beyond mere drill down or data visualization”. Referring to the expectations arising from this partnership, Álvarez adds: “Quiterian DDWeb will let Brújula maximize the value of its current customers portfolio, develop a more competitive portfolio and easily operate with a transparent and customized channel management model”.
According to the Sales Director of Brújula, Faustino Rivero, “With this agreement, Brújula wants to complement and boost its Business Intelligence solutions with advanced and predictive analytical solutions, that deliver unprecedented usability levels, aimed at business users with little technical skills who demand real-time and self-service data mining”. And he adds: “Additionally, Brújula wishes that these solutions refuse datawarehouse and Business Intelligence solutions, as well as heterogeneous databases, with high-performance data integration (much higher than relational databases) and minimum hardware requirements”.
The entry of Brújula Tecnologías de la Información in the Quiterian Business Partner Network will definitely reinforce Quiterian’s presence in the national market – and more precisely, in the Balearic market -, and will contribute to promote Quiterian’s business solutions for the travel and services sector.
