· The IT consultant Proximity will commercialize the Self-service and Agile BI platform Quiterian DDWeb in its area of influence and, especially, in Florida, where its headquarters are located.
· This strategic agreement reinforces once again Quiterian’s commitment with its customers and partners in the North American scope.
Barcelona, March 21, 2011 – Quiterian has a new partner to promote the market in the eastern US coast (especially the State of Florida and surroundings) and to cover northern South America and part of Central America. It is all about Proximity, an IT consultant with wide experience in Business Consulting, and which counts on headquarters in Miami in addition to its offices in Venezuela and Panama.
Framed in this strategic alliance, Proximity will distribute in its area of influence the Self-service and Agile BI platform Quiterian DDWeb, the right complement of traditional BI systems based on user-friendly and fast Advanced Analytics and Predictive Analysis techniques. This way, Quiterian, that has just opened a new office in Los Angeles and which, equally to Proximity, counts on headquarters in Miami, consolidates its commitment with its customers and co-workers in the North American market.
“At Quiterian we are committed with organizations around the world, and therefore help them be more competitive and efficient by providing them with the fastest and easiest Business Intelligence platform in the market”, says Quiterian’s CEO, Josep Arroyo. As a result of that and, in order to distribute Quiterian DDWeb effectively, the company operates through a growing international partners network, which Proximity joins now. “Specialized in offering solutions that are designed individually to satisfy each customers’ needs and adapted to the markets where Proximity operates, this company bets like us for offering high added-value, personalized solutions, that contribute to achieve business excellence”, explains Arroyo.
On the other hand, Proximity’s CEO, Mónica González, defines their partnership with Quiterian not only as a commitment with innovation, but also as a secure medium- and long-term investment. “From here at Proximity we see DDWeb as a solution more than as a product, since it fits our business strategy, which consists of offering innovative solutions aimed to differentiate and improve our services portfolio for all our customers”. And she adds: “The partnership agreement signed with Quiterian will help us strengthen our alliances in the mid and log term”.
This alliance with Proximity, its second partner in the USA, joins a long list of partners and co-workers internationally. This demonstrates, in addition to the continuous offices opening around the world, Quiterian’s vocation for being a global company and its growth plans, and consolidates its commitment with partners and customers.
About Quiterian:
Founded in 2003, Quiterian has developed DDWeb, a Self-service and Agile Business Intelligence (BI) software that analyzes unlimited volumes of data instantly, with very light server. DDWeb includes Advanced Analytics and Predictive Analysis techniques, but because of the simplicity and intuitiveness of the platform, any business user can make use of it, with no need of being an expert Mathematician or Statistician, and with no dependence on IT. Quiterian DDWeb is the right complement of traditional BI systems.
Among its customers are leader companies in their sectors (El Corte Inglés, BBVA, La Caixa, Inversis, Telefonica, Vodafone, Orange, Telepizza, Volkswagen, Travel Club, Bayer, Sanofi) and some of the most advanced government institutions (Governments of Andalusia, Catalonia, Valencia, Extremadura, Madrid City Council, Bilbao City Council, Metro of Madrid, Metro of Bilbao, ATM, Muface, Muprespa, ENESA).
Quiterian, with headquarters both in Europe (Barcelona) and the USA (Miami), and offices in Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Lisbon and Mexico DF, started in 2010 an international expansion and thus it has expanded its area of influence through strategic partnerships with partners from around the world.
Quiterian and DDWeb appeared in Gartner’s ‘Magic Quadrant for BI platforms 2011’ for “easing the use of Data Mining and Statistical Analysis, and thus making these capabilities more broadly available”.
