Domain Report SEMrush

In this section we present the main reports SEMrush provides for analysis of organic positioning or words adwords, by domain, URL or keywords. It is a tour of the main reports and information showing each, with screenshots of the reports of each type, and explanations or descriptions format reference manual.

To learn how to perform specific tasks SEM, SEO or competitive analysis, better consult the preceding paragraphs, including video tutorials on how to take good advantage of this extraordinary tool with very little effort.

The main report domain SEMrush runs to enter a domain in the search box on the application, at the top of the screen. Anter pressing the search button is important to ensure that the local database search engine on who wishes to obtain the data is selected. In this case, as we are interested in data from Google Spain, in the same search engine select the 'ES'.

Main Report SEMRush

This report shows a dashboard with the main results SEM, SEO, keywords and backlinks that concern all pages of the domain entered in this case qlik.com.

The top of the dashboard shows the summary of the main indicators, and distribution graphs and trends, and clicking on parts of these graphs, such as text, graphics or numbers portions of accessing reports detail of the part on which was pressed.

Under the graphic, the first results of the most important reports are shown, they are sections of TOP 5 with the top 5 organic keywords, the top 5 competitors in organic search, the top 5 keywords in Adwords ads, the top 5 competitors in advertisements, and major announcements.

In each of these sections it has a button to export to export all data in the report (the TOP 5 are displayed, but in exporting all included) in a file in Excel or CSV format, and a link to the Report full, which displays the detail report with all details of the selected section. The keywords, domains, and some indicators of these sections also give access to detailed reports on the linked part.

From the menu on the left side of the screen you can also access the various reports of detail, or return to the main report. We explain below the main reports SEMrush detail.

 

Full report of organic Keywords

This report shows all keywords with which any domain page has positioned itself among the top 20 (in the first two pages) of the Google search results for the selected country.

SEMRush organic positioning

For each keyword, in the various columns of the result table the following information is displayed:

  • Position in search results

  • Monthly volume of searches for the keyword

  • CPC ad clicks means by that word

  • Url of the indexed page

  • Estimated percentage of traffic that is bringing the domain to the total of organic traffic

  • Percentage of estimated cost would get those visitors ads adwords

  • Advertisers competence indicator End

  • Number of pages of results obtained for search

  • Small trend graph search in the last year estimated

  • Access SERP page in which the term appears

  • More recently they have been updated data to the keyword.

The results table can be sorted according to any of the indicators just click on the title of the indicator, and since each keyword can access a full report for that word. From the URL also accessed directly report URL.

 

Adwords Keywords full report

This report shows the keywords with which Adwords ads to any page of the domain are purchased.

SEMRush Adwords positioning

In the results table the same information indicators are shown in the previous report, but in reference to these keywords in Adwords. Besides an Ad column, if the mouse goes above shows the ad associated with that keyword, and other 'Block' column, which graphically depicts the scene of the sponsored listings where your ad is shown (above, is included in the side ..), and if you click on the icon leads to the search results page showing your ad in the space of sponsored ads.

The column position, rather than indicating the position within the organic results for the keyword as in the previous report, indicates the position of the ad within the sponsored search results.

 

Report Competitors in organic search

This report displays information about the domains that have common keywords dominance report positioned among the top 20 organic search the selected search engine, in this case Google.es.

SEMRush organic competitors

The results table displays the following information about each competitor domain:

  • Domain: Domain competitor, linked to the general report by domain.

  • Competition level: Level Indicator competition, opportunity management

  • Common Keywords: Number of keywords in common, with direct access to report details of these keywords

  • (Search) Keywords: Total number of keywords that the domain of competition has indexed in the first 20 search results, with direct access to report details of these keywords.

  • Traffic (browser): Traffic estimated that competition receives from searches of the above keywords (those indexed in the TOP 20 of Google's SERP)

  • Price traffic (browser): Estimated price it would cost to pay on ads from Adwords for traffic previous indicator

  • Keywords (Ads): Number of keywords positioned in the TOP 20 sponsored results for which the domain of competition is being advertised on Adwords.

On the list of competitors, usually the most relevant are usually found from early position, as there are very important domains that are indexed million keywords, such as Wikipedia, Youtube or Alexa and, therefore, can have a significant number Keyword shared with the analyzed domain, and usually appear at the top of the report.

The results table displays the following information about each domain competitor ads:

  • Domain Marketplace competitor in Adwords, linked to the general report by domain.

  • Competition level: Level Indicator competition, opportunity management

  • Common Keywords: Number Adwords keyword in common, with direct access to detail report Adwords keywords for these keywords, which can also be viewed ads.

  • Keywords (Ads): Total number of keywords that the domain of competition has indexed in the first 20 Sponsored search with direct access to the detail report Adwords words for these keywords results.

  • Traffic (browser): Estimated number of visitors per month competition sponsored receives from the previous search keyword ads

  • Price traffic (browser): Monthly Estimated amount of Adwords ads that the competitor is paying for the keyword.

  • (Search) Keywords: Number of keywords positioned in the Top 20 organic search results in the domain of competition.

 

General Report of Adwords ads

This report shows a filling grid with text ads Adwords analyzed domain. Each ad appears as displayed in sponsored search results. The number of keywords associated with each listing is also reported.

Such SEMrush reports display information about keywords positioned within the first 20 Google search results for a full web address or URL, which can be a particular page of a domain, a landing page, etc.

Organic report for a URL

Organic report for a URL displays information about keywords positioned in the TOP 20 of the organic search results of search for the specified URL.

For each keyword, in the various columns of the result table the following information is displayed:

  • Position: Position in search results.

  • Volume: Monthly volume of the keyword searches.

  • CPC: Ad clicks means by that word CPC.

  • Competition: Competition of advertisers indicator for the term.

  • Traffic%: Percentage of estimated traffic that the word is wearing the page with respect to total organic traffic for that URL.

  • Cost%: Percentage of estimated cost would get those visitors adwords ads.

  • Results: Number of pages of results obtained in Google for the search.

  • Trend: Small trend graph search in the last year estimated

  • Last update: Newest Date on which data have been updated for this keyword.

  • SERP source: Access to the page of Google search results in which the term appears

 

Report Adwords for a URL

The report Adwords for a URL displays information about keywords positioned in the TOP 20 of the sponsored search results for the specified URL. Keywords are acquired Adwords ads to take visits to that URL.

Advertising positioning Semrush URL

In the results table the same indicators of information in the previous report, but in reference to Adwords keywords for which sponsored ads that lead to the URL is displayed. An "Ad 'column, hovering above shows the ad associated with the keyword, and other' Block 'column, which graphically indicates the location where the ad block shown (top, side included .. ). A click on the icon of the block leads to the search results page showing your ad on the Google sponsored area.

The 'Position' column indicates the position of the ad within the sponsored search results.

SEMRush overview report keyword

The presentation and navigation is similar to the main report for domain and can also get detailed reports related both from the menu on the left, from the links and buttons on the dashboard of the report, such as the links of keywords, Type the full report or Export buttons.

Of the full reports to which you can access are particularly interesting for their usefulness to give ideas for new keywordsReport and Phrase Match Report Related Keywords.

Report phrase match

The phrase match report shows all keywords positioned in the TOP 20 of organic Google searches that include the keyword you entered in the search.

For each sentence that includes the keyword in the results table displays the following information:

  • Volume: Monthly volume of the keyword searches.

  • CPC: Cost By means Adwords ad clicks End Click.

  • Competition: Competition of advertisers indicator for the term.

  • Results: Number of pages of results obtained for the search.

  • Trend: Small trend graph search estimated in the last year.

  • SERP source: Access to the page of SERP in which the term appears.

Report related keywords

The report displays information related keywords on keywords that are relevant organic search with keyword or term that is being analyzed. It is ideal for quickly getting good keyword ideas related to a thematic report.

To do a quick comparison of the evolution of organic positioning or ad multiple domains, SEMrush provides a comparative graph which can be accessed from the menu on the left and top, in the Tools section, selecting the graphics link. You can also access this chart if you click on the trend graph on the main report for domain.

SEMRush graphic trends

This utility allows you to compare several chart types and for different time intervals trends positioning of up to 5 domains, allowing selected for each indicator to be analyzed.

Available indicators are: Total Keywords, Traffic, Traffic Price, New Keywords, Keywords Lost, Improved Keywords, Keywords Declined. Each indicator has a version that refers to the organic positioning and another version that refers to the positioning paid Adwords ads.

If you want to compare more than five domains, you can create a chart, and you can even get the code to insert traffic on another website.

The best thing about this tool is that it is free, it is not necessary to have a subscription to SEMrush to use.

Reports SEMrush feature at the top right of a button on 'Download the report' which creates a download area User version of the report for download in pdf format. I appropriate to present a client report, or other professionals or managers.

More interesting still is the button that is always available in the data tables to download the data in a file in Excel or CSV format. Just press this button in any of the reports or data tables, format is chosen, and downloads on the local computer starts. Then they can analyze and process the data without being connected to the Internet.
